The Community Workshop for “Shedless Blokes"

Founded in late 1996 this Pioneer Shed has helped in establishing many other Sheds and produced the Manual on “Setting up a Men’s Shed”.
In 2007 the Shed set up and registered the “Australian Men’s Shed Association” and for the first 2 years it operated from the Lane Cove Shed.

In 2024, after 25 years at our present site, the Shed will be moving to a new location in Lane Cove.
This will give us more space for new activities and the ability to recruit more members.

Community Men’s Sheds have now been granted ‘Deducible Gift Recipient’ (DGR) status. This will be effective from 1st october 2020 and donations over $2 are tax deductible.
